Michael Duarte

Executive Director

Michael Duarte has been working for Cataumet Club Camp since 2009 in every facet of camp. First as a sailing instructor, then Head Sailing instructor, Program Director, and now Executive Director. He has an intimate knowledge of the camp and the town of Cataumet. Mike is an educator of 16 years and currently teaches at Bishop Stang High school in Dartmouth along with coaching Football, Basketball, and Tennis.

Luke Duffy

Waterfront Director

Luke Duffy has been a staff member at Cataumet Club Camp since the summer of 2014. He began working as a sailing instructor and soon Head Sailing instructor.  Luke has sailed all of his life and has spent the majority of his summers as a child in Cataumet. He currently is teaching 4th grade for the Newton Public School system and has been teaching professionally for the last 5 years.

Sean Nutter

Clubhouse Director

Sean Nutter has been a tennis instructor at Cataumet Club camp since 2017. Since then he has served as Head Tennis instructor for the last 3 years. Sean played high level collegiate tennis both at Nichols College and the University of Massachusetts. Sean is currently completing his graduate degree in order to become a Guidance Counselor.

Janie Carroll

Head Sailing Instructor

Janie is a long time resident of Cataumet and attended camp since she was 6. Janie excelled in all areas of camp, but sailing was her true love. Last year she stepped in seamlessly as a sailing instructor. Janie is currently a senior at Needham High School and plans to attend the college of her choice next fall.

Kyra Savage

Head Sailing Instructor

Kyra has summered in Cataumet the majority of her young life. She also attended camp as an A grouper. From her first time here, her love for sailing was evident. As a multi sport athlete, Kyra knows how competition brings the best out of kids and has taken that competitive drive to her instruction. Kyra stepped as sailing instructor last summer, is a senior at Morgan high school in Connecticut and plans on attending the college of her choice in the fall.
